Quito Teil 2

Am Sonntag bin ich dann zum Teleferico (eine Seilbahn, die einen auf ca 4000m hoch bringt) Die Aussicht von dort war unglaublich - Berge, Vulkane und ein toller Blick über die Stadt! 

Am nächsten Tag bin ich noch ein bisschen durch die Altstadt geschlendert und Kirchen angeschaut und ein tolles Restaurant mit Heisser Schokolade endteckt! Um 11.00 Uhr war noch so etwas ähnliches wie eine Wachablösung beim Präsidentenpalast! Viele Leute protestierten (habe nicht ganz verstanden für was)

Am Nachmittag nahm ich dann ein Taxi an den Flughafen und spätee bin ich nach Lima geflogen. Der Flug hatte etwas Verspätung und in Lima habe ich den Airportbus nach Miraflores genommen. In meinem Hostel wurde ich dann auch schon von meiner lieben Freundin Haley erwartet!

On Sunday I took the Teleferico (a cable car) up a mountain and from there I had an incredible view; mountains, vulcanos and a beautiful view over the city. 

The next day I walked through the old town, visited churches and found sone great hot chocolate. At eleven there was something similar to a guard change infront if the presidents house, which was interesting to watch, there were as well a lot of people protesting and holding up sings because the president steps out to a balcony to wave to the people. 

In the afternoon I went to the airpot to catch my plane back to Lima. My dear friend Haley already expected me in the hostel!
