Quito Teil 1

Nach einer länger als gedachter Busfahrt bin ich dann am Mittwochabend in Quito angekommen und zu meinem Hostel gegangen. Wow das Hostel ist echt toll, sauber, genügend Platz und das Wlan funktioniert auch! Hier habe ich dann wieder Vanessa getroffen und zusammen mit zwei anderen aus dem Hostel sind wir essen gegangen. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir dann zusammen die Free Walking Tour gemacht - die war super; sehr spannend und informativ! 

Am Freitag habe ich es mir gemütlich gemacht und am Nachmittag sind wir in ein Schokoladen- und einen Honigladen! 

Am Samstag bin ich dann auch eine Tour nach Otavalo, wo der grosse Markt ist. Es ging früh los und der Morgen war dann auch etwas stressig. Als erstes gingen wir zum Äquator. Hier bin ich auf dem Äquator und auf der Süd- und Nordhalbkugel zur gleichen Zeit! 

Danach ging es frühstücken und wir haben noch bei einem Aussichtspunkt angehalten bevor ea dann zum Markt ging! Der Markt war wirklich gross ubd man konnte wirklich vieles kaufen! (Ich habe mir auch ein paar Dinge gegönnt, wobei ich daurauf geachtet habe, dass sie nicht zu viel Platz beanspruchen oder ich sie brauchen kann.) 

Nach dem Markt ging es zu einem sehr schönen See! 

Danach gingen wir Mittag essen und noch zu einem Ledermarkt, mit dem kleinen Bus ging es dann zurück nach Quito!

After a little longer bus ride than expected I finally arrived in Quito! My hostel here was great and I as well mer Vanessa again! The next day we went together on the free walking tour - it was awesome! So mich to see and our guide gave us a lot of information. She for example explained us the situation back in the year 2000 when they changed their currency to the dollar and how many people lost a lot of money through the inflation. 

On Friday I had a relaxing morning and in the afternoon I went with Vanessa and her mother to a chocolate and honey store! 

On Saturday I took a tour to Otavalo. First we went to the equator (the real one) and then we went to get breakfast! Afterwards we went to the market in Otavalo (one of the biggest ones in South America) It was great and I also bought some stuff! After the market we went to a lake which was beautiful! Then we ate lunch and could go to a lether mrket as well!
